Everyone watches as the WNY 3rd Regiement Corps of Cadets Drill Team performs an exercise.
This is a well disciplined group led by David Griffin and has attended Flag Day ceremonies for several years in Niagara Falls.

Several speakers tell the story of the Stars and Stripes and patriotism. Shown clockwise above is Nick Melson from the New York State Assembly office of Hon. Francine DelMonte who read the History of the Flag. Next is Niagara County Sheriff James Voutour who related the History of the Pledge of Allegiance. Peter Robinson of the New York Courts System opened with the National Anthem and later sang several patriotic songs. Retired Dentist and U S Naval Officer, Dr. Rocco LaRocca recited the poem In Flanders Field by John McCrae and Former Prisoner of War John Maroon told stories of his volunteer mission to teach children about the perils and history of World War II. Fire Chief closed the program and the Honor Guard retired the flag.
